SORA Certification Class Held 8/27
The EDGE hosted a NJ SORA class this past weekend. SORA (Security Industry Registration Act) is the NJ requirement for any person performing private security work in the state. EDGE student Joe Deluca, and instructors Mark Cugliari, Wayne Malec, and Mr. Raciti took the 3 day training for their certifications in SORA, CRR, and CDT Non Deadly Force Training. Over 30 attendees certified. The next course will be in September. See Mr. Raciti for more information.
Fall Schedule Starts Sept. 7TH
The new class schedule will begin on Tuesdsay , Sept. 7TH. All SJD Classes wil be returning to Gi ONLY classes on that date with the exception of Friday and Saturday SJD classses. Fall Schedule
EDGE Closed for Labor Day Weekend
The Academy will be closed Labor Day Weekend...Friday 9/3, Saturday 9/4, and Monday 9/6. Classes resume Tuesday 9/7 with the Fall Schedule.
Justin Rios Wins Belt
Team EDGE's Justin Rios won the Evolution MMA Bantam Weight Belt on Saturday, July 10TH in Club Abyss in Sayerville, NJ. Over 80 students and friends of the EDGE came out to watch Justin submit his opponnent in the first round. Justin also performed three beautiful slams which sent the crowd into a frenzy.
